Aged 3 years for a mellow flavor, with production methods passed down from the Edo period. A concentrated red vinegar beverage rich in amino acids and red algae calcium. Enjoy diluted in 4 to 5 parts cold or warm still water, or sparkling water, etc.
Tajima red vinegar is rich in amino acids, so it has a full-bodied, savory flavor. It is also blended with natural calcium derived from red algae, a type of seaweed, to create a vinegar beverage that is more drinkable with superior effects.
Basic Drinking Instructions Akazuki is savory with mild acidity, so try drinking it simply mixed with cold still water or sparkling water first! Mix Akazuki with cold water or sparkling water in a 1:2–1:4 ratio We also recommend these other blends. Mix Akazuki with black tea (straight/unsweetened) in a 1:4 ratio Mix Akazuki with vodka and sparkling water in a 2:1:3 ratio Mix Akazuki with tomato juice in a 1:4 ratio
