Carbon black
Carbon black is a fine powder produced by incomplete combustion of carbon containing raw materials (petroleum or coal tar). It is mainly composed of carbon element, a small amount of oxygen, hydrogen and sulfur. Its appearance is pure black fine or powdery, approximately spherical, insoluble in water, acid, alkali. And it can be burned into carbon dioxide in the air.

n550 is suitable for natural rubber and all kinds of synthetic rubber, easy to disperse, can give the rubber material high stiffness, fast extrusion speed, small expansion of the mouth, smooth extrusion surface. Vulcanized rubber has good high temperature and thermal conductivity, and good reinforcement, elasticity and resilience. It is mainly used in tire cord glue, tire side, inner tube, extrusion and calendering products.
Performance difference between carbon black n330 and n550
(High abrasion furnace black; High abrasion furnace black; HAF) suitable for tire tread, cord glue, tire side and various rubber industrial products. And n330 is hard carbon black, hardness is greater than n550.
n550 carbon black (Fast extrusion furnace black; FEF). The iodine absorption value of n550 carbon black is 43g/kg, and the DBP absorption value is 121cm3/100g. The particle surface is smooth and the structure is high. Carbon black n550 belongs to soft carbon black, and its reinforcing performance is the best in soft carbon black.
