5. We recommend to put at least 4lb of wax before start the machine to prevent overheating the wax.

Add wax into melter.
Turn on melter and wait for wax to melt.
Collect wax in a container.
Add fragrances or dyes to the wax.
Pour wax into candle jar.
Wait for wax to cool down.
The machine has a temp secure system which would shut down the melter when the temp of bottom goes over a certain level. When it happens, no light would be on since it is shut down, it feels like damaged, but it is not, and it will restart in couple mins. This could happen a lot in times during melting, but as long as the red light is able to be on again and it is melting the wax then everything is fine.
