1.Clean and prepare the stairs:

Clean the stairs thoroughly to ensure the vinyl will adhere properly. Sand rough spots and fill any cracks or gaps with wood filler.

2.Measure the stairs:

Measure the depth and width of each stair tread and riser and cut the vinyl accordingly.

3.Install the treads:

Apply a construction adhesive to the stair tread and carefully place the vinyl tread on top, pressing it firmly into place. Repeat for each tread.

4.Install the risers:

Cut the vinyl risers to size and apply adhesive to the back. Carefully place the riser on the stair, making sure it is level and aligned with the treads. Repeat for each riser.

5.Trim the edges: Use a utility knife to trim the excess vinyl from the edges of the treads and risers.

6.Finish:

Clean the stairs and let the adhesive dry completely. Finish with a clear sealant to protect the vinyl and keep it looking new.
