Ceramic Coated Oxygen Lancing Pipe for Steelmaking

Product Parameters
Ceramic coated oxygen lance pipe is a carbon steel pipe with multiple layers of ceramic coating both outer and inner. Depending upon the normal bore of the pipe one or two refractory coats are applied on inside of the pipe. On outside the number of coats ranges between 3 to 5.
This improves the resistance of the ceramic coated oxygen lance pipes to the attack of liquid metal and slag. It is used in electric arc furance for oxygen as well as argon lancing.
Application of ceramic coated lance pipe:

Ceramic Coated Lance Pipes is used mostly in metal making process:
1.Injecting carbon and other powders into electric furnace or ladle
2.Injecting oxygen in Ladle Furnace process
3.Injecting argon in stirring step of refining steel.
4.Injecting flux for degassing step of refining steel.
5.Opening notch of a blast furnace or nozzles in tundishes and ladles.
