39Arita Coffee Filter (Cera Filter) Ceramic Conical Coffee Filter.
The enclosed "Cera Filter" ceramic filter, filter holder and saucer are all Arita-yaki, Japanese porcelain made in a small town of Kyushu called Arita.
The set is made almost entirely by hand.
Cera Filter is no need for disposable filters, the ceramic filter itself can be used on its own repeatedly.
The body of the filter is made of porous ceramic with countless holes of several microns in diameter, which produces a far-infrared effect and filtration capacity to remove impurities and chalky odours from the water.
By filtering liquid through this fine mesh, which is invisible to the naked eye, miscellaneous taste is removed and makes your beverage more mellow.
This is the same level of filtration as that found in a water purifier, so even tap water tastes better.

The Cera Filter is made of porous ceramic with countless holes of several microns.

It can also be used in place of a water purifier by pouring tap water into it.
It can be used for green tea, tea, shochu, sake, wine and etc. in addition to coffee.
Coffee
Paper and cloth filters are not necessary if you have a Cera Filter.
1. Set
Set the heart-shaped filter holder on top of the cup.
Warm the cup of coffee before setting it in place for best flavor.
2. Add beans.
Set the Cera Filter on top of the cup and pour in the ground beans.
Be careful not to tilt the filter at this point.
The standard amount of beans is 15g per person.
The beans should be coarsely or medium ground.
3. Pour hot water.
Pour in hot water, stopping once the beans are covered with hot water, and slowly pour in 150 cc of hot water after about 20 seconds.
When cleaning up, be careful not to burn yourself because the filter and other parts are hot.

Maintenance
With proper care, the Cera Filter can be used for a long time.
Normally, after use, when the filter becomes clogged with coffee grounds and impurities and cannot pass through, it can be rinsed with water, but cleaning with hot water is more effective.
*Avoid washing with detergent, etc.
1. Discard
Turn the Cera Filter upside down and gently tap it to remove the contents.
Discard the coffee and tea leaves as soon as possible, as they dry out and become hard to remove.
2. Wash with water.
Rinse well to ensure that no contents remain.
Do not use detergent.
3. Hot water bath
Pour 1.8 to 2.5 liters of hot water over the filter to remove oil.
When no color appears, the process is complete. When storing, allow to dry naturally.
Annual Maintenance
Baking on the stove burns out impurities in the filter.
Washing after baking removes the clogging and improves the passage of beverages.
Perform maintenance on the stove once a year.

Place a net or similar object on the gas stove, place the cerafilter on it, and bake it over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
Baking in the oven for 15-30 minutes is also easy and effective.

If you have an induction stove and cannot use a fire, you can also boil the filter in a pot of water.
Adding edible baking soda to the water makes it easier to remove oil.
