1.How to use the katana?

(1) Katana, whether with white sheath or other wood ones, must be put in the katana bag. When you put it in the bag, you should put “Dang” together into to prevent the danger of sudden withdrawal.
Note: "Dang" refers to the appliance protecting the bottom of the sheath which also refers to as scabbard tip.
(2) When holding a katana, be sure to use the right hand with the handle facing up and the tip facing down, which is also to prevent the occurrence of danger.
(3) When taking the katana out of the bag or pulling it out, be especially careful not to turn the handle down.

2.What is a tsuba?

This is the handguard on a katana and it sits between the blade collar or habaki, which is at the top of the blade, and the = handle or tsuka. It comes in many shapes and designs from basic to highly ornamental.
