Static cone sounder is suitable for in-situ testing of civil engineering, municipal, highway and engineering foundation soil in general clayey soil, soft soil, loess and dense sandy soil areas.
It can be used to find out the change of stratum in vertical and horizontal directions, to lay mechanics, to determine the bearing capacity of natural foundation and to estimate the bearing capacity of single pile, to distinguish the possibility of liquefaction of sand, to determine the undrained shear strength of soft soil, and to provide the calculation index of bearing capacity of soft soil foundation and slope stability.
