Product Description
Mooring pontoons are divided into two categories: A and B, which are supplied to ships of different tonnage and length.
Category A mooring pontoons are used by ships with a length of less than 183 meters. The distance between each pontoon is 427 meters. Under each mooring pontoon are two geared cast steel links with a diameter of 90 mm and a length of 16.5 meters and a weight of 90 tons. The sinking block must undergo a 298-ton tensile test. The mooring buoys are inspected once a month. The mooring chains are turned around every one year. If the chain diameter is less than 76 mm, it will be replaced.
Class B mooring pontoons are used by ships with a length of less than 113 meters and a load capacity of 6,000 tons. The intervals between the pontoons are 305 meters. Under each mooring pontoon are two geared cast steels with a diameter of 76 mm and a length of 16.5 meters. The chain link and a 50-ton sinker are all required to undergo a 219-ton pulling force test. The mooring buoy is inspected once a month. The tether is turned around every one year. If the chain diameter is less than 64 mm, it will be replaced. .
There are different mooring floats corresponding to ships of different tonnages. Various mooring floats of different specifications can be used when anchoring ships of different tonnages. The operation of mooring floats and anchoring ships is very convenient and flexible. Cargo transfer operations and ship maintenance can be carried out at the berth. Therefore, mooring buoys are important anchoring facilities in ports.
