Bauxite is a kind of chemistry or biochemistry rock rich in aluminum minerals.And the main minerals components are diaspore,boehmite,gibbsite.As for the formation process,the dissolved alumina was brought from the aluminosilicate minerals by the strong thermal chemical weathering and deposited in the sea or lake basin.The main component of the bauxite is alumina that is a kind of hydrated alumina with impurities.And it is a kind of soil minerals,white or gray,due to iron,it shows the color of brown or light red.Density of 3.9~4g/cm3,hardness of 1~3,opaque,crisp,extremely difficult to melt,insoluble in water,soluble in sulfuric acid sodium hydroxide solution,mainly used for aluminum and the system of manufacture of refractoriness.

Application:
(1) Aluminum industry. For the defense, aviation, automotive, electrical appliances, chemicals, daily necessities, and so on.
