How long can a LiFePO4 lithium battery last?
Lithium batteries are non- toxic, zero fumes and have no heavy metals. 1 LiFePO4 battery can last as long as 3 lead acid batteries per charging cycle. Over the life of the battery, 1 LiFePO4 can replace as many as 6 traditional AGM batteries of the same Ah capacity.
How big is the LiFePO4 battery?
LiFePO4 battery packs is commonly 1/3 the weight of SLA. Take 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery as example: LiFePO4 100 amp hour,12 volt battery weights only 11KGS,and the SLA 12V 100Ah is approx 33KGs.
LiFePO4 batteries cost a lot more upfront but in the long run, they are worth it. Especially when user consider the trouble involved in moving big AGM batteries around.
