PYB Series Cone Crushers/Cone Crusher Machine

1. The engine rotates around a fixed point driven by the belt wheel or the coupling.

2. The transmission shaft and the conical part of cone crusher swing under the force from the eccentric bushing, which makes the crushing wall of the Symons cone crusher close to the pierced mortar wall at intervals.

The PY Cone Crusher is widely used for secondary and fine crushing in the fields of mining, chemical industry, building materials, metallurgy and so on.  It can crush materials with Moh’s scale in middle and high hardness, such as ironstone, copper ore, limestone, quartz, granite, rock and so on.  The standard type (PYB) is applied to secondary crushing;  the medium type (PYZ) and the short-head (PYD) are applied to fine crushing.

Working principle

When the PY Cone Crusher is working, the motor drives the eccentric bearing bushing via spring coupling, transmission shaft and a couple of cone gear wheel.  The crushing cone axis is forced to swing by the eccentric bearing bushing, which makes the mantle close to the bowl liner and far away from the bowl liner from time to time.  The raw materials are pressed, impacted and finally crushed in the crushing cavity.

Why choose a cone crusher?

Cone crushers, also known as conical crushers, break rock between an eccentric rotating head and a bowl. The rotating head is covered by a wear-resistant mantle. The large pieces are broken once between the two jaws, then they gradually descend into the crusher where they continue to be broken until the pieces are small enough to pass through the narrow opening at the bottom of the breaking space. A cone crusher can crush a variety of rocks, from medium to hard. The way a cone crusher operates is similar to how a gyratory crusher does, but in a cone crusher the slope in the breaking space is not as steep.
