Product Description
The cylinder cover is a cover on the engine block, which can prevent foreign matters from entering the engine and play a role of sealing.
Cylinder head gasket, referred to as cylinder gasket, is an elastic sealing element placed between the cylinder block and the cylinder head. Since the cylinder block and cylinder head cannot be absolutely flat, cylinder head gasket is required to prevent high-pressure gas, lubricating oil and cooling water from escaping between them.
There are two types of cylinder head gaskets:
① The metal asbestos pad is based on asbestos and is wrapped with copper sheet or steel sheet. Some use braided steel wire or rolled steel plate as the framework, and some add metal rings around the cylinder hole to improve the strength. The advantage is that the price is low, but the strength is poor. Asbestos has been discontinued in developed countries due to its carcinogenic effect on human body.
② The metal gasket is made of a single piece of smooth steel plate, with elastic embossed lines at the sealing position, and is sealed by the elasticity of embossed lines and the role of heat-resistant sealant. It has been widely used abroad. The utility model has the advantages of high strength, good sealing effect and high cost.
The cylinder liner is used to ensure the tightness of the combustion chamber. Once the cylinder liner is damaged, the engine will work abnormally.
