Magnesium-chrome brick is mainly used in metallurgical industry, such as building open furnace top, electric furnace top, furnace refining furnace and various non-ferrous metal smelting furnace. Magnesia Chrome Bricks
Magnesia chrome brick with magnesium oxide (MgO) and chromium trioxide (Cr2O3) as the main components, magnesia and spinel as the main mineral components of the refractory products. This kind of brick has high refractoriness, high temperature strength, strong corrosion resistance to alkaline slag, excellent thermal stability, and certain adaptability to acidic slag. The main raw materials of magnesia-chrome brick are sintered magnesia and chromite. The purity of magnesia raw materials should be as high as possible, the chemical composition of chromite requirements are: Cr2O3:30 ~ 45%, CaO: ≤1.0 ~ 1.5%.
