The switch once locked due to pulling or rope, will only reset when reset button / knob is pulled by operator. This arrangement provides additional security for the person working on the conveyor. Heavy Duty Pull Cord Switch with Reset Button is housed in dust and weatherproof cast aluminum enclosure with IP 66 Grade of protection. Sturdy & heavy duty cam-switch with robust contacts is used to give longer service life. Handle fitted with spring steel rings at both ends is provided for fixing the rope. The design of the rings gives maximum flexibility in operating condition. Enclosure is epoxy painted to give high corrosion resistance. The switch is designed with manual reset type of mechanism by pulling the knob. Pull Cord switch is mounted on the walkway side of the conveyor belt preferably at about every 30 meters of the length. Rope is tied to the end rings of the handle. When the rope is pulled from any side, the switch is operated. Unless and until the knob is pulled by operator, the switch remains in operated condition. Hence reliable operation is ensured by Pull Cord Switch with Reset Lever.
