Carbon molecular sieve is a new adsorbent developed in the 1970s, is an excellent non-polar carbon material, (CMS) used to separate air enrichment nitrogen, using room temperature low pressure nitrogen process, than the traditional deep cooling high pressure nitrogen process has less investment costs, fast nitrogen production speed, nitrogen cost is low. Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) nitrogen production is achieved by using the selective adsorption properties of CMS, as well as different adsorption amounts under different pressures. When the pressure rises, oxygen will be adsorbed as it expands faster in the CMS's microporous structure, thus separating oxygen and nitrogen. When the pressure is lowered, oxygen is desorbed and CMS is regenerated. This cycle allows nitrogen to be produced continuously. Carbon molecular sieve (CMS) is used to separate nitrogen from air. The cost of nitrogen production at room temperature and low pressure is much lower than that at low temperature and high pressure. At the same time, it also has the advantages of fast nitrogen production and low cost. Therefore, it is now the first choice of PSA nitrogen production devices. Nitrogen is widely used in chemical, electronic, food, coal, medical, cable, heat treatment, transportation, and all kinds of warehousing and other industries.
