High quality Microwave motion sensor is installed inside the bulb, so the motion sensor bulb will light up automatically while it detects motion within 18-24ft in the dark, and automatically off after the motion ceased or disappeared about 30 sec.
Note: Make sure the sensor is pointing down within proper distance and angle. To incease the bulb's sensitivity, you can adjust the angle and height of the bulb installation, make the sensor toward the direction people/moving objects.
