PROPOLY 80 polymers are invaluable processing aids in rubber mixes and their advantage rests on their ability in improving flow behaviour of rubber mix and increasing mix viscosity and stiffness without impairing the physical properties of the final vulcanised products. This attribute makes it useful in producing high quality compounds where filler content is low. Both materials can be used with either natural or synthetic rubbers.

In extrusion, they allow faster production throughput with lower die swell, smoother surfaces and excellent dimensional stability. In calendering, the use of these polymers reduces shrinkage and improves gauge consistency. In moulding, less air trapping is found and in low hardness moulding, process-ability is improved and the polymer alleviates the problem of blister formation and excessive porosity is minimised if these material are used in LCM curing.
