Stitches and power switch
FHSM-520 household sewing machine featuring 12 built-in basic stitch patterns. We can see the stitches on the green fabric.1~4 are straight stitches, 5~6 are decorative stitches, 7~8 are used to sew the button hole and button. 9~12 are zigzag stitches, can be used to do the overlock sewing.The stitches selection button is used to choose the stitch you want to sew, just turn the button can do it.
The reverse sewing button are used to do the reverse sewing, then make the sewing work much stronger. Just when we are using the straight stitch the reverse sewing function can be used.
The machine need to open the power to start to work. It has two sewing speed, we can see there are L and H on the power switch, L for low speed, H for high speed. We recommend the new beginner to use the low speed firstly.

Thread and other function
There are some numbers in the left side of the machine. They are the upper thread threading guidance. When we are threading the upper thread, we need to follow the guidance to make sure we will not to do the wrong threading. If we do the wrong threading, the needle might be broken when we are doing the sewing work.
If the thread is too tight or too loose, we can use the thread tension dial to adjust. The number bigger the thread is tighter.
There is a 16 cm ruler on the left side of the power switch. It can be used to measure the fabric or the thread when we are
sewing.

The single needle can be replaced to double needle.The double needle only can be used when we are sewing the straight stitch.
The back side of the sewing machine
We can use the automatic winding function when the spool is used up. To wind a new spool then we can get a new upper thread.
