Product Description
Hollow 12 Strands Braided Spectra UHMWPE Rope for climbing rope
UHMWPE stands for ultra high molecular weight polyethylene . It is currently widely used for heavy lifting for it ' s extremely high strength , high abrasion resistance and light in weight comparing to convention steel wire rope sling and grommet sling .
A same diameter of UHMWPE rope is stronger than steel core wire rope and it has only 1/8 of steel wire rope ' s weight which resulting more efficient and easy handling during heavy lifting operation . The rope comes with special coating on the surface to enhance UV resistance especially dealing with the offshore ' s harsh environment . Both end spliced eye with extra protective sleeve to ensure the rope ready to serve for mooring upon delivery .
The rope is supplied with ABS class certification . BV , DNVGL , LR and CCS are available upon request .
