It may not have that fresh, out of the package look but it is not permanently damaged. Simply place the bag in the sun to let it
dry out. Once it's dry, the charcoal will begin to work again.
7.Why does the bag only last for one years?
The air freshener works by adsorbing pollutants from the air and temporarily storing them in its' pores until rejuvenation. Once
placed outside in the sun, the UV rays release and disintegrate the pollutants. Some of the more serious toxins, such as
formaldehyde, can leave a very small amount of residue behind in the pores. This builds up over time, making the Air purifying bag
bamboo less effective at adsorbing particles out of the air. Sometimes the bag lasts more than two years; you will have to be the
judge of that.
