Storage conditions
Keep the receptacle sealed, store it in a cool and dry place, make sure the working room is well ventilated or exhaust. Packed in double-layer PVC bags, net weight 5kg or 10 per bag, sealed plus iron drum, net weight 25kg or 50kg per drum.
Stability
Will not decompose if used and stored in accordance with specifications, no known hazardous reactions, avoid air, acids. Insoluble in water and alkalis, soluble in acids. Absorbs carbon dioxide and water when exposed to air. Easily absorbs CO2 from air, soluble in dilute acids.
Yttrium oxide use
1. Used in the manufacture of various ceramics, optical glass, phosphor, laser materials and refractory materials, used as a catalyst for the synthesis of ethane from carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
2. Mainly used in the manufacture of single crystal, yttrium iron cudgel, yttrium aluminium neodymium cudgel and other composite oxides, these composite oxides due to the high-frequency performance is good, can be used as microwave magnetic materials and military communications engineering with the important materials. It can also be used as additives for high-temperature transparent glass, additives for ceramic materials, rare-earth phosphors for x-ray sensors, high-brightness phosphors for large-screen TVs and other CRT coatings. Also used in the manufacture of film capacitors and special refractory materials, as well as high-pressure mercury lamps, lasers, storage components, such as bubble magnetic area materials.
3. Manufacture of infrared spectrometer in the light source. Acetylene lamps and gas lamps gauze cover. Colour TV tube fluorescent body. Zirconia refractory stabiliser. Fluorescent powder. Artificial gemstone laser crystals, superconducting materials and many cutting-edge applications in the electronics industry.
