Marine Ship Open Type Lifeboat Product Details
♦Open lifeboats are manufactured in accordance with the LAS 1974 Amendments.
♦The hull of the lifeboat is made of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), and the space between the inner and outer hulls is filled with polyurethane foam to provide sufficient buoyancy for the lifeboat.
♦Even if the underwater part of the boat is damaged, the boat will float with the help of the foam.
♦This type of boat is used for survival at sea.
Open lifeboat features
Open lifeboats are made of FRP with polyurethane foam filled between the inner and outer shells to provide sufficient buoyancy. If the hull is damaged underwater, the buoyant hull can still provide enough buoyancy to keep the boat on safe water.
Both sides of the open lifeboat are equipped with oil-resistant foam fenders, and the outer side is equipped with two layers of fixed rubber for easy replacement. There are steel handrails on both sides of the boat for the crew. The self-draining deck ensures quick drainage of water inside the boat.
