Nickel Iron Battery NIFE Battery 250 ah

The P V market got a great development in past decades. Now the storage batteries are chosen strictly

for PV system. The mainstream batteries was lead acid type because of its cheap price. However,

nowadays more and more people pay attention to battery performance and envrionment problem. Its

features are long service life, 100% depth of discharge and non-pollution etc. So the nickel iron batteries are more and more popular in PV market. The TN series nickel iron batteries which manufactured by Henan Xintaihang Power Source Co.,Ltd. are designed by advanced technology. They have strong structure of welding plates, ABS material container and spe cial flame retardant valve controlled air plug. The electrolyte is abundant to make sure a long maintenance period.

Comparison with Lead Acid Battery



Charge

Initial charge
The new battery which stored for more than 6 months
should be charge at 0.2C5A for 12hours, then discharge
at 0.2C5A to 1v/cell. Repeating above charge and
discharge for 3-5 cycles. If the discharge duration isn’t
less than 5hours and the battery voltage isn’t less than
1v/cell, the battery can be put into operation according
to normal charge.

C5 means the output capacity of the battery discharged
to cut-off voltage at 1.0V with 5 hours rate at 20°C.
Namely-norminal capacity
Under normal circumstances, the battery should be
charged by normal rate (0.2C5A). In the case of
emergency, the fast charge method ( 0.5C5A ) can be
used . The battery must be charged at n ormal rate
(0.2C5A) for 12 hours when it is overcharged.

12 Volt Bank(10 cells)

12v battery system are generally constrained to about 2500 watts of input power.


24 Volt Bank(20 cells)
24v battery system is great for off-grid applicationswhere total space is limited.


48 Volt Bank(40 cells)
48v battery system is moden and efficient. Lower cable amperages translate into thineer and cheaper
wire and there are fewer concerns with over-current protection devices.

Battery Structure
Positive Plate

High prosity nickel plated metal belt coating NiOOH
active material. Forming the positive plate by 40ton
pressure. This plate is strong , corrosion resistance,
low internal resistance and not easy off power.


Negative plate

High prosity nickel plated metal belt coated FE3O4
active material. Forming the positive plate by 40ton
pressure. This plate is strong , corrosion resistance,
low internal resistance and not easy off power.

Battery Container

Flame retardant and high strength ABS or PP
material container. Sintered plates with good
strength and shock resistant vibration. It is
easy to watch the level of electrolyte.


Electrolyte
Alkaline KOH or LiOH mixed electrolyte. It is suitable
for high or low temperature.

Terminal

The terminal is made of metal material. There is
electroplated corrosion resistant nickel coating
on surface. The structure is external screw thread.
Nut is six angle flat type. This kind of structure lower
the Ohmic resistance, and make the battery suitable
for different current discharging.

The container is made of PP or ABS material .


Low rate of self discharge
The teminal of batteries are are using nickel plated metal parts, and the connection between batteries are using nickel plated bridge plates. So the internal resistance is small.
