The built-in temperature-sensitive thermocouple is a product developed and produced by our company for precision instruments and molds according to the customer's requirements. The product has built-in K-type J-type PT100 NTC and other temperature-sensitive wire elements directly inside the heater, which solves the problem of mold design and electric heating application solutions for customers without temperature-sensitive wire installation location or inconvenient to install temperature-sensitive wire separately. At present, the minimum diameter of our cartridge heater with thermocouple can reach 4mm, and the limit also can reach 3mm heater diameter. The product adopts European imported thermocouple, which has the advantages of accurate temperature measurement and reliable performance.

Product Features

Cartridge heaters have the versatility of being able to carry thermocouple inside to help control temperatures of the heater more accurately. Various diameters allow for it to be used in any cavity and can be custom designed with any cold section. Lead wires extend from the end to your control panels.

Installation Notes
1.Request for periodic inspection of cartridge heater fixing screws. 2.Avoiding Contamination. When using a release agent, to ease heater removal from its hole, be sure to wait until agent is bone dry before inserting the heater into the hole.(Moisture, oil or other liquids on the lead wires can be wicked into the heater and cause early failure.) 3.Avoiding Over-Temperature. A loose fit of the cartridge heater in its hole will reduce the heater’s life time because the heat generated is not transferred efficiently to the object or material being heated, causing the heater to run at a higher temperature to transfer its energy. Choose the lowest wattage heater that will maintain the desired operating temperature of the part being heated and still provide a short enough start-up time. 4.Avoiding Excessive Cycling. 5.On moving machinery, securely fix the wire. Minor movement is allowed near the exposed heater portion of the wire. Rings in the wire usually extend the life of the wire . 6.Avoid using tape where the wire is exposed to the cartridge heater. Adhesive from the tape may enter the heater and convert to carbon with conductive properties. In cases where glass tape must be used, it is recommended that silicone based adhesive tape be used. 7.The use of graphite or other lubricants that help insert cartridge heaters into drilled holes is not usually recommended. These lubricants are all electrically conductive and can attach to the wire end of the heater if you are not careful. 8.The conductor must not extend into the borehole containing the cartridge heater .
