The rescue boat is made of glass fiber and filled with Polyurethane foam inside and outside the shell, ensuring sufficient buoyancy. When the boat underneath the waterline is in a damaged condition. All rescue boats shall have buoyancy sufficient to float on the sea. Rigid handrails shall be provided on both sides of the rescue boat for aiding persons' embarkation and disembarkation. Self-charging deck shall be arranged to ensure self-draining rapidly when flooded and is equipped with self-righting watertight air case to meet the requirements of an oil tanker and cargo ship as specified in the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), 1974 and international standard.
