Target Insect
Plutella xylostella
Also known as the diamondback moth, sometimes called the cabbage moth.
The diamondback moth lays its eggs only on plants in the family Brassicaceae. Nearly all cruciferous vegetable crops are attacked, including: Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Chinese Cabbage, Cauliflower, Collard greens, Kale, Kohlrabi, Mustard, Radish.
Chilo infuscatellus
Also known as the yellow top borer or sugarcane shoot borer.
The larvae feed on a number of large plants in the grass family Poaceae; these include oats, citronella grass, Bermuda grass, Java
grass, jungle rice, barley, rice, millet, pearl millet, sugarcane, sorghum and maize.
