Description

This reproduction of a French regency period chair has the dramatic dome and deep wings of the original, intended to fend off drafts in the grand chateaux of 18th-century France. Built by hand, its seat is upholstered in sand Belgian linen solid, the back in natural burlap with hand-hammered brads, while the oak frame has a drifted, weathered finish that lends it in the patina of a long-lived antique. In the grand chateaux of 18th-century France, the porter, stationed by the entrance to admit visitors, would have sat in a chair much like this.

Thickness of leather is approximately 1.0-1.2mm. And there are more than 30 color options to meet clients’ different requirements.
