Function Overview


With the gradual improvement of voltage levels in domestic substations, the usage of SF6 high-voltage circuit breakers in the power sector is currently increasing at a rate of about 15% per year. In the fields of high voltage, ultra-high voltage, and ultra-high voltage switches, SF6 gas is used as insulation and arc extinguishing medium. However, most SF6 high-voltage switches are installed indoors, and the air flow is relatively slow. Once SF6 gas leaks, it is easy to cause local hypoxia, causing workers to suffocate due to hypoxia, posing a safety hazard to their lives. At the same time, it also reduces the arc extinguishing effect of the high-voltage circuit breaker and causes damage to the circuit breaker body. Therefore, once SF6 gas leakage is detected, corresponding measures must be taken to accurately locate the leakage point, repair the leakage point, and promptly eliminate the safety hazards of high-voltage circuit breakers.
