3D Edge Finder
The 3D edge finder is a further development of the mechanical edge finder. It is used on milling and EDM machining equipment.
The machine spindle can be positioned quickly and safely on the reference edge. The subtle approaching process can be accurately displayed on the digital screen. Because the spindle can be positioned exactly on the contact edge, the zero position can be set without calculation.
Large digital screen display with a resolution of 0.001 mm. Numbers are also easily read from long distances (eg on large machining centers). The screen is waterproof and dustproof (IP 64) and can be stored in the tool magazine.
Note: A measurement accuracy of 0.005 mm can be achieved with HAIMER's original probe.
