Product overview KYQ5 Automatic Transfer Switch (A.TS) is an automatic transfer switch that integrates switch and logic control without the need for an additional controller, truly achieving mechatronics integration. It has functions such as voltage detection, electrical, and mechanical interlocking, and can achieve automatic, electric remote, and emergency manual control. The operation is achieved by the logic control board managing the operation and operation of the motor and gearbox with various logic commands. The motor drives the switch spring to store energy, instantly releases the acceleration mechanism, quickly connects and disconnects the circuit or performs circuit conversion, and achieves safe isolation through obvious visible states, greatly improving the performance of various electrical and mechanical properties. Mainly used for AC 50Hz, rated voltage AC400V, working voltage 220V, rated current 16A to 3200A in distribution or generator networks where one main and one backup or mutual backup power supply switching systems, as well as load switching for mains and generator sets. It can also be used for infrequent connection and disconnection of circuits and lines for isolation purposes. Switch wiring method

Note: The customers can choose one of the following 6 wiring methods, economical type users only need to import the copper power, then do not need another 2lines, 302-305 is the indication of the switch, Users can connect on their own if needed.

Maintenance,inspection and storage

1.Maintenance and inspection shall be operated by professionals and all power supplies shall be cut off in advance. 2.In order to ensure the good performance of ATS, the first maintenance and inspection shall be carried out within6 months after use, and shall be maintained and inspected at least once a year. ln harsh installation conditions the frequency of maintenance and inspection should be increased 3.Maintenance and Inspection Items. a. Please remove dust and dirt in case of failure b, Please check whether the contact parts of the electrical contacts are deformed and damaged, and remove burnt metal particles attached to and around the surface. c. Rust, acidification and dust on the contact surface may lead to poor contact. Please operate manually many times and measure the contact resistance if necessary. d. Due to long-tem moisture and suspension, please dry ATS before use. After removing dust and dirt, use a 500v megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance between normal supply, alternating power supply, load side poles, including live parts and metal plates. And the insulation resistance should not be less than 10M Q. 4.ATS should be stored in an environment equivalent to the normal working environment, with dust, moisture and bump protection measures.

Switch structure description

1. Electrical key lock: Control the internal control circuit power supply of the switch. Only when the electrical lock is opened can the switch achieve fully automatic, forced "0", and remote operation; When the electrical lock is closed, the switch can only be manually operated. 2. Operating handle: When using the operating handle for manual operation, the electrical lock must be closed first. 3. Mechanical padlock: A specialized padlock mechanism for maintenance. During maintenance, turn the switch to "0" position, then pull up the padlock mechanism and lock it. It can prevent any accidents (pulling up the padlock will cut off the internal control power supply of the switch, the switch will not be able to automatically, and it can also prevent the handle from being put on). 4. Indicator: The three states (I, 0, II) positions of the indicator switch.
