Q1. Why do you need a picoseconds laser?
A1: With this remarkably innovative technology, Picoseconds laser is the next generation of high peak power laser to replace the Q-switched Nd:YAG. After 10 years development, the clinic result strongly suggests that the picoseconds laser is more effect than Q-switched Nd:YAG laser with its pure photoacoustic effec which shatters inks and pigmentations only leaving the surrounding tissues unharmed. The patients get a happy treatment results with less pain and short time.
Q2. How to distinguish a real picoseconds laser?
A2: The laser pulse duration less than 1 ns called picoseonds laser, and the pulse duration less than 500 ps named ultra-picoseconds. The pulse duration of Q switched Nd:YAG is around 5-20 ns, so it is not a picoseconds laser. There are 3 ways to help you distinguish the picoseconds laser from Q-switched Nd:YAG laser.
1. The picoseconds laser can break down the air into spark with the energy less than 50 mJ; the Q-switched Nd:YAG laser cannot.
2. The picoseconds laser will not broken the skin, so only ubcutaneous ooze blood after treatment. The Q-switched Nd:YAG will broken the shin with blood out.
3. Measure the pulse duration with high speed photo diode and oscilloscope, the cost will be high.
