Applications
PLA is made from corn, potato and other starch-based biomass or straw cellulose as raw materials, fermented to produce lactic acid, and further purified and polymerized to prepare high-purity PLA, which is environmentally friendly, non-toxic,
antibacterial, flame retardant and good biocompatibility. It can be completely biodegradable under normal composting conditions.
With the largest output, the widest application range, the highest cost performance and the closest to petro-based polyester in the world, PLA will account for 70-80% of the market share of biodegradable material.
