Production Process
PVC pipe is extruded in what way?
- With a mixer, combine the source stuff. PVC powder and additives.
- Use a screw loader to deliver the combined material into the feeder.
- Melt the mixture using a conical screw that has been specifically made for PVC powder.
- Using an extrusion die to form the melted material into a coarse tube shape.
- To give the pipe a better form, the pipe is cooled and blown in a vacuum cooler using water and vacuum.
- In order to regulate production speed and tube thickness, the tube is removed at the same extrusion speed.
- Using a cutter (set length by limit switch or rotary encoder), cut the tube to the length specified by the customer.
- Tubes are automatically stacked and discharged using a stacker (controlled by a limit switch).
