2205 duplex Stainless steel plate/sheet/coil/circle/strip Alloy 2205 (UNS S32305/S31803) is a 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum, 5-6% nickel, nitrogen alloyed duplex stainless steel plate with high general, localized, and stress corrosion resistance properties in addition to high strength and excellent impact toughness. Superior corrosion resistance to 316L and 317L combined with high strength. Excellent stress corrosion and abrasion resistance. Typically and widely used in piping heat exchangers, gas scrubbers, fans, chemical tanks, flowlines, marine and refinery applications, Chemical process vessels, Pulp mill digesters, bleach washers, chip pre-steaming vessels, Food processing equipment, Oil field piping and heat exchangers, Flue gas desulfurization equipment and other fields.
