What are Absolutes?

Used in perfumery and aromatherapy, Absolutes are very similar to Essential Oils . They are concentrated, highly aromatic, oily mixtures extracted from plants. Whereas essential oils are produced by distillation, boiling or pressing, absolutes are produced through solvent extraction, or more traditionally, through Enfleurage . Many times distillation of a plant by steam method does not extract as much natural oil from the plant, or in some cases, breaks down the precious natural oil in delicate flowers. The solvent extraction method is often used in these cases.

Our range of organic absolutes are made using modernized technology similar to the ancient method of Enfleurage (gentle extraction of oil from precious flowers by soaking them first in vegetable fat, then using alcohol as a solvent to separate the oils from the fat). The extraction process uses only C ertified Organic solvents such as fixed oils and alcohol to coax the aromatic essence out of the plant material. The resulting bio-available essence, extracted without added heat, captures the intricate aroma of the original plant material.

What are your criteria for testing products?
Our Quality Assurance team consisting of highly qualified chemists and experts adhere to the strict quality standards used by the global Essential Oils and Flavor Industry.

These references of comprehensive scientific information, detail specific physiochemical properties of all the essential oils. Some of these important parameters include Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, Optical Rotation, Flash Point, Acid Value, Ester Value, Infrared Absorption, Ultraviolet/Visible Spectroscopy (UV/Vis) for pigment detection, Solubility, Colour/Appearance, Taste/Odour, presence of Heavy Metals, and proportion of Predominant Active Chemical Components.

Our in-house laboratory is equipped with the state-of-the-art analytical equipment allowing us to carry out highly specialized analyses, such as Gas-Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry . We use these analyses results to ascertain the quality of our essential oils as well as to confirm specification sheet reports and certificates of analysis received from third party vendors.


Do you accept International Orders?
Yes. All our orders are shipped internationally from our warehouse in New Delhi, India to your provided shipping address via FedEx or DHL Express. Due to the nature of international shipping, occasionally a customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The large majority of orders will not have to pay any additional fees.
