The testing center of Penglai Jinglu Fishery Co., Ltd. covers an area of 400㎡, divided into microbiological laboratory and
physical and chemical laboratory, with 15 testing personnel. In December 2007, it was jointly designated as "Regional Testing Center for Exported Agricultural Products" by Shandong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Shandong Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department and Shandong Finance Department; in October 2009, it was designated as "Regional Management Testing Sub-center for Quality and Safety of Exported Agricultural Products in Penglai City" by Penglai Municipal People's Government. "In April 2008, the laboratory successfully passed the CNAS laboratory accreditation of the National Accreditation Committee, and is the first food enterprise laboratory in Yantai aquatic industry to pass the CNAS laboratory accreditation.

Microbiology laboratory is divided into four parts: culture media production room, scrubbing and disinfection room, culture room and aseptic room. The main testing items are total bacteria, coliform, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio cholerae, Listeria monocytogenes and mold. The average daily test samples are 100-120. The physical and chemical laboratory is divided into precision instrument room, liquid chromatography room, gas chromatography room, atomic absorption room, drying room,analysis room, pre-treatment room, calibration room, balance room and drug room. The precision instruments in this laboratory are mainly from well-known companies such as Japan and the United States. The average number of samples tested per day is 40-60.
