Hair straightener: Highest heat setting. Starting at one side of bag, clamp straightener down for 2-3 seconds. Repeat in sections while slightly overlapping sealed areas, working your way across the top. This will permanently join the front and back of the bag together.
Clothing iron: High heat (NO steam setting). Use a piece of wood to iron against for support. Place top flap of the bag over wood and push against it to iron. Start at one side of the bag and iron a wide strip for 2-3 seconds, permanently joining the front and back together. Continue sealing across the rest of the top.
Impulse sealer: Medium-High pressure level. Lay top of bag in alignment with grip mark on impulse sealer. Lower top mechanism and keep sealer shut until light turns OFF. Wait briefly before raising top mechanism, allowing sealer and bag to cool down.
