Wire binding is a popular commercial book binding method, and is known by a number of different names including twin loop wire binding machine, wire-o binding machine, double loop wire binding machine, double-o binding machine, ring wire binding machine and wirebind machine. With this binding method, users insert their punched pages onto a "C" shaped spine and then use a wire closer to squeeze the spine until it is round. Documents that are bound with wire binding will open completely flat on a desk and allow for 360 degree rotation of bound pages.
The SG-2008 SIGO Binding Machine punches up to 25 sheets (70gsm) at the time and binds up to 140 sheets with a 3:1 pitch double loop wire, which means there are three holes per inch of your book's spine. Max. binding ring size: 1".

Note: SIGO's binding machine comes with oiled cutting blade for protecting the punch die away from rusting. To avoid staining on the important document, please use oiled removing paper(enclosed ) to punch first in order to clean up the blades.
Different Between 2:1 & 3:1 Wire Binding Machine
3:1 pitch (3 holes per inch)
The three to one pitch hole pattern is most commonly used for binding small sized documents with double loop wire. Spines for this binding style are available in sizes between 4.8 mm (3/16 in) and 14 mm (9/16 in) in diameter. Three to one pitch wires are not available in sizes larger than 14 mm (9/16 in). The hole pattern used for 3:1 pitch wire binding can use either square or round holes.
2:1 pitch (2 holes per inch)
Although a two to one pitch hole pattern is most commonly used for binding larger sized documents it can also be used for binding smaller diameter books. Two to one pitch wire is most commonly found in sizes ranging from 16 mm (5/8 in) up to 32 mm (1 1/4 in).
