The LIQUI-VIEW Base series operate on the Karman vortex principle and are made for operation on liquids. A great advantage of these vortex flow meters is the absence of moving parts which makes these instruments impervious to deposits of hard water and maintenance free.

Orders are shipped from Monday through Friday. Weekend delivery is not available. Products will be sold from stock, unless otherwise stated in the purchasing process. You will be notified when an item is not in stock which will introduce a delay in the delivery time. We do not partially ship orders so when one required item is in stock but another is on a non stock lead time then you should split the order. Q: What happens during measurement with a vortex meter when the tube vibrates?
A: In general, vortex meters are sensitive to vibrations and impact shocks. Therefore vibrations and impact shocks should be prevented in the neighbourhood of the meter.
Q: Which liquids can be measured with LIQUI-VIEW Base?
A: Water and all water like liquids which are not flammable, corrosive or toxic. With the following definitions we are able to correct the influence of media with higher viscosity than water (= media viscosit y > 1.8 cST) in order to reach a measuring accuracy of 3% fs in the range of 1.8 – 4 cST and of 4% in the range of 4 – 14 cSt (υ= viscosity in cSt).
