It is an effective check valve that provides reliable backflow protection for pumping stations, effluent discharge, storm water discharge, site drainage and flood control.
Its unique elastic duckbill design is always in the 100% closed position. When the inlet pressure is eliminated, the valve will seal closed, ensuring that unwanted media cannot flow back into the pipeline.
By eliminating backflow risks, duckbill check valves also enable placement along the bottom of the aeration pipe rather than on top of the pipe or along its sides.
