Carbon Steel Self Locking Nuts
DIC Fasteners is a Manufacturer of Lock Nuts, primarily used for when you need a nut to resist loosening when vibration or torque is present. Lock nuts are primarily made from stainless steel and other finishes. The nuts do not easily loosen when placed on bolts, making them useful for holding wheel into axles or in automotive engines where machine vibration would otherwise loosen the fastener. Lock nuts are available in wide styles, grades and finishes.
Lock nuts with an integrated locking mechanism minimize the cost of the shaft as no key is required. Installation is also easier because no locking device is required. We carry lock nuts in many styles and plating as per the requirements.
