Coal activated carbon
by
high-quality anthracite , Coal tar is used as a binding agent to prepare columnar activated carbon. However, the use of coal tar can easily pollute the environment and affect the quality of activated carbon products. The new type of binding agent developed by our company produces columnar activated carbon, which improves the quality of activated carbon products and the economic benefits of the enterprise. The impregnation KOH optimizes the existing properties of the activated carbon giving a synergism between the chemicals and the
carbon.
The highest iodine value of
Impregnated activated carbon
on the market does not exceed 1000mg/g. Our company has improved the process and used secondary activation energy to increase the iodine value to 1200mg/g, and the maximum CTC can reach 90%.

CERTIFICATES
The raw coal is crushed and ground into coal powder, then binder is added for coal blending, kneading and forming. The extruded charcoal is then charred and activated to obtain the finished columnar activated carbon.
The purpose of mixing
and kneading is to make the solid phase coal dust and liquid phase coal tar fully mixed, giving the mixture plasticity and fluidity, so that the fine particles of coal dust are fully and evenly filled and wrapped by coal tar, and the coal pitch is formed into charcoal skeleton forming particles after charring and extruded from the bottom of the die plate, and then cut into strips of uniform length by the cutter.
Carbonization:
The raw material is heated and dried at a temperature of 170 to 600°C and approximately 80% of the original organic matter is charred.
Activation:
which is accomplished by reacting the char with an activator such as water vapour, produces a mixture of mainly CO and H2 in a heat absorption reaction, which is used to burn the char to a suitable temperature (800 to 1000°C) to remove all decomposable material, resulting in a well-developed microporous structure and a large specific surface area, which gives it a high adsorption capacity.
The factory has set up a technical centre, which is capable of testing the product indicators of various standards such as national standards and American standards. The technical centre is equipped with testing equipment such as electronic balances, bulk density meters, water capacity measuring devices, spectrophotometers, acidity meters and other testing instruments to achieve accurate, reliable and rapid testing of conventional and non-conventional items of activated carbon. It is fully equipped to determine particle size, strength, packing density, methylene blue value, iodine value, carbon tetrachloride, ash, floating rate, caramel decolourisation rate and other indicators.
The factory produces a wide range of activated carbon products, including columnar activated carbon, raw coal crushed activated carbon, raw coal crushed acid activated carbon, powder activated carbon and so on.
With the characteristics of large specific surface area, strong adsorption, high abrasion strength and fast filtration, it is mainly suitable for liquid and gas phase adsorption, and has the functions of decolorization, adsorption, purification, filtration, carrier, recycling, purification and odor removal. Widely used in water purification, chemical industry, electric power, textile, environmental protection, electroplating, gold extraction and many other industries. The products are exported to Korea, UAE, EU, Middle East and other countries and regions.
