STANDARD PREPAYMENT
HW1000 Single Phase STS Keypad Prepayment Energy Meter takes 20-digit STS TOKEN as the recharge medium. It is suitable for residential consumer scenarios. The consumer recharge the meter in energy unit or in currency and the meter deducts unit or currency equivalent to consumption. The meter is built with keypad, enabling active energy measurement and prepayment control via STS algorithm.
HW1000 can work independently or with a CIU as "split" mode. The communication between the meter and the CIU can be M-bus, RF or PLC. The CIU is not meter specific and can be matched with a meter with a code. The CIU provides various options of alarm and alert to the customer relating to meter status and consumption. The 3 LED indicators on its front panel gives intuitive information to the customer to keep aware of the consumption level, balance credit, meter tamper and power outage, whilst it also makes active buzzer alarm when acute event occurs as low credit, over load or tampering.

Heightened demand for power availability, distributed generation, and greater efficiency are creating a need for more consumption and power quality measurements at the edge. Meeting this need, HW1000 is the first prepayment meters to offer multiple channels of load profile data; each of which can be configured independently for interval, size and collection settings.
