EPDM is a copolymer of ethylene, propylene and a small amount of non-conjugated diolefin, which is a kind of ethylene propylene rubber, expressed as EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer). Because its main chain is composed of chemically stable saturated hydrocarbons, and only contains unsaturated double bonds in the side chain, it has excellent aging resistance properties such as ozone resistance, heat resistance and weatherability, and it can be widely used in the fields of automobile parts, waterproof materials for construction, wire and cable sheathing, heat-resistant hose, adhesive tape, automobile seals and so on.
