Now as days aluminum can be seen everywhere from the coke can we drink to the medicines we take from the vehicles we travel and the led we use for light. It has been demanded in almost every sector of technology. Its corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and durable as there is an abundance of metal, we see everywhere there is an abundance of scrap we get every day of aluminum. So, to decrease the scrap we recycle and overall, 75% of Aluminium of the world is obtained from recycling scrap. And from recycling 1 ton of aluminum, we can get up to 95 % of maximum yield. As far as profits are concerned recyclers can get up to 6 % -10 % of returns from the recycling of secondary aluminum.

Indotherm Aluminium Melting Skelner Furnace (Dual Fuel Gas/Oil)
Aluminum Melting Skelner Furnaces are modified versions of reverberatory furnaces. The Word Skelner comes from a Human skull which is oval in shape from the top and curved at the bottom same goes for the inside refractory of the furnace which is an arch type from the top and has curved edges at the bottom. Indotherm Aluminium Melting Skelner furnace is basically used for Secondary aluminum recycling. It has become the first choice for the users because it has very low maintenance and is easy of doing operations.

The furnace is rectangular in shape fabricated out of 6-8 mm thick plate of Mild steel, furnace has two openings One for charging of material and the other for flux treatment and operator window. The furnace is equipped with 02 Sets of Hydraulic Cylinders and one to two sets of modulating oil or air-controlled burners depending on the size of the furnace.

Our Aluminum Melting Rotary Furnace involves very advanced design that is used for recycling of all kinds of aluminum. Scrap, dross and ferrous is also processed. Minimum consumption of salts is needed. This is the most competitive type and advanced furnace. It has a short lifecycle. Small amount of salt is needed for the recovery of metal. Generally, there is an oxy-fuel consumption system that is employed in the rotary furnace. Dry salt is used as well. These are procedures that along with tilt design of the furnace help in melting the aluminum more efficiently. The tap to tap cycle time of the process is about 2-3 hours. Productivity time is low and thermal efficiency of 75-80% is gained.
The furnace is suitable to process different kinds and types of materials as the support is provided by latest techniques used in its design. Experience has already been gained and a good number of projects have been done to document the outcomes. This makes our furnace a universal solution to process different materials that might include scrap with dirt and impurities such as plastic, paint and dust. Foundry returns are also processed in this. Along with that, automotive parts that have ferrous inserts are also processed. The furnace has also been proven to be useful to process white and black dross, chip turnings and aluminum cans.
Tap to tap cycle time of the furnace is low that is 2.5-3 hours that gives it efficiency of work. Ratio of salt required is also less than other furnaces. This works with low energy that is almost 400 kWh/MT. Its rotary speed is around 8-12 rpm. The furnace maintains a robust steel structure along with a proven drum. It has long life because of refractory lining that is possesses. The furnace can bear oversized material. With its hydraulic tilting system and rotation it is easier to get work done. Supervision and control of the furnace also does not need a full time deployment of a worker. All these features help in saving cost and time of operation and overall results improve.
