A certified NIOSH N95 manufacturer can be check with NIOSH given TC#. This can be check by scanning the QR Code attached. All certified NIOSH N95 manufacturer will be on NIOSH's official website list, if it's not on it, it may be a fraud product.
Each certified N95 mask will have it's unique TC# given by NIOSH when approval is granted. It should includes Company Name, Model Number, TC#, and Standard Level.

Why do some NIOSH N95 respirators have an exhalation valve on the front?
A:
The use of an exhalation valve reduced resistance, which makes it easier to breath (exhale). Some users feels that a respirator with an exhalation valve keeps the face cooler and reduce moisture build up inside the face piece.
