The TC-A1G-V8 GPS vehicle tracking device is designed to track the location of any types of vehicles, as well as receive data from connected sensors and transmit information to the SUNCAR MS server complex.
The device is suitable for monitoring any vehicle fleet, regardless of its size.
This model consists of the most popular functions: a built-in CAN reader, buzzer, accelerometer and additional connectors for connecting sensors.
To exchange data with the server complex, the specialized SUNCAR MS software is used.

WORKING MODE OF OPERATION
In normal operation mode, the controller automatically registers in the GSM network, establishes a connection with the server and searches for GPS satellites. Data transmission to the server is also carried out in automatic mode.
PROTECTION AGAINST DEEP BATTERY DISCHARGE
The controller provides protection against full discharge of the vehicle battery. So, when the supply voltage decreases below the threshold, it automatically turns off. The controller will automatically turn on when the supply voltage exceeds the threshold switching voltage.
OPERATING MODE FROM THE BUILT-IN BATTERY
The vehicle tracking device (VTD) has a battery with a capacity of 1100 mAh. If the supply voltage is missing or does not match the supported range, the device switches to operation from the built-in battery.
The battery life of the vehicle tracking device depends on the settings, and in average it is 6 hours. In agreement with the
customer, the VTD can be equipped with a higher capacity battery.
By default, the internal battery is deactivated, to activate it, you need to contact SUNCAR MS technical support.
POWER SAVING MODE
In this mode of operation, when the ignition is turned off, the vehicle tracking device switches to a low power consumption mode, with the shutdown of all main components. In this case, the device automatically turns on at specified intervals. When the ignition is turned on, the controller switches to normal operation.
SAFEDRIVE MODE
SUNCAR MS TC-A1G-V8 vehicle tracking devices support SafeDrive mode operation. This mode allows you to control the quality of driving (the behavior of the driver behind the wheel of the vehicle). In this mode, in addition to coordinates and speed, exceeding the established acceleration, braking and speed limits are also recorded. When an event occurs, for example, overspeeding, the driver will be notified by an audible signal of the buzzer built into the controller.
A "BEAUTIFUL" TRACK
When this function is activated, the controller switches to a more active polling mode when the ignition is on and driving, and also generates additional packets when turning, which allows you to display the most real track of the vehicle on the map.
IDENTIFICATION OF THE DRIVER
Identification of the driver driving the vehicle is carried out by applying a unique driver's key individually to the personal key
reader connected to the vehicle tracking device. Special program code protects keys from copying.
FIXING EXCEEDING ACCELERATION/DECELERATION LIMITS AND SPEED
To fix speed violations, satellite speed, speed from the pulse sensor speed and speed from the CAN bus of the car, if available, can be used as a speed source.
BUILT-IN ACCELEROMETER
The built-in accelerometer is polled more than 100 times per second and has measurement limits of ±8g. Data from the accelerometer is transmitted in case of exceeding the acceleration threshold, with a detail of 3 seconds before and after exceeding.
