Usage:
Helical piers, also known as anchors, piles or screw
piles, are deep foundation solutions used to secure new or repair existing foundations. Due to their design and ease to install, they are most commonly used whenever soil conditions prevent standard foundation solutions. Instead of requiring large excavation work, they thread into the ground. This minimizes installation time, requires little soil disturbance, and most importantly transfers the weight of the structure to load bearing soil.

Shaft Material:
2 7/8” OD. Certified Pipe with 70,000 yield and 90,000 tensile with an installation torque rating of 12,500 ft. lb and ultimate load limit of 100,000 lbs. Shaft lengths of 60”, 72”, 84”, and 120” standard.
Helices:
ASTM hot rolled carbon steel 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" thick plate, ASTM A570 Structural grade 50, Configuration 8", 10, 12", 14", 16". ASTM A123 Galvanized.
Couplers
are cut from 3 1/2" O.D. Certified .254w welded in place forming consistent strength equivalencies with the shaft. The welding design and welding fabrication of steel will be in accordance with the AWS D1.1.
