Structure
1. The pipe bender adopts touch screen and numerical control module, dialogue operation, and program setting is simple and easy;
2. The bed structure is stable and not easy to deform;
3. Each file can set 16 elbow angles, and memory can store 16 groups of files;
4. With slow positioning function, the bending angle is stable and the repetition accuracy is ± 0.1 °;
5. The error message is displayed on the screen to help the operator eliminate it immediately;
6. The software can be purchased and installed on the desktop computer to edit and calculate.
The bending of pipe by pipe bender is the same as that of sheet metal. In the case of pure bending, when the tube with outer diameter D and wall thickness t is bent under the action of external moment M, the outer tube wall of neutral layer is under the action of tensile stress σ 1, and the tube wall becomes thinner; while the inner tube wall of neutral layer is under the action of tensile stress σ 1, and the tube wall becomes thicker. Moreover, the shape of the cross section changes from round to oval due to the force F1 and F2. When the deformation is too large, cracks will appear on the outer pipe wall and wrinkles will appear on the inner pipe wall.
